What's the best Aussie slang version of "an angel syndicate"? (asking for @M8Ventures)
English

@ybernstein Even though I’m an atheist, I still recognise this was deeply offensive to Christianity
English

Is there anything more masturbatory than re-publishing your own emails in a book?
adriane schwager@aschwags3
Do you think your boss is scary? Look at this brutal email from Marc Andreessen to Ben Horowitz during the heat of a Netscape product launch
English

@misha_saul I think they should give votes to all the children in the country, but let ME decide how to vote.
English

@AvidCommentator @qldgarden There were checks and balances in Weimar Germany too
English

@qldgarden I think the level of threat needs to be kept in perspective.
Not go off well into the land of hyperbole with claims of Hitler 2.0 and people being sent off to camps.
There are checks and balances in the system that need to be kept in mind, regardless of Trump's motives.
English

I concur with Brent.
When someone is painted as a dictator, a "threat to democracy" and "Hitler", the chance of something like this happening rocket.
Santiago Capital@SantiagoAuFund
The one consistent comment across all the different platforms I have watched (both left leaning and right leaning) in the last few hours is “shock”. Really? I’m not sure how anyone can be shocked. Things have been moving in this direction for a long time now.
English

@VWeightLossM @zackkanter Hitler was a mainstream candidate too.
English

@zackkanter If people were even marginally educated, that wouldn't work. That said, why doesn't comparing a mainstream candidate to Hitler not qualify as hate speech? Everything else seems to be criminalized in America.
English

The natural conclusion of telling people that Hitler is on the ballot and democracy hangs in the balance.
Elon Musk@elonmusk
English

@bill_kerrrrr Yee, it's the "leadership" of the strongman. He's a leader like Putin, like Xi.
English

@ybernstein I disagree. It's part of the job. He won the election with that first pump and we all know it.
Anyway, happy to disagree, haha.
English

@vibester @callmehouck Oh they're both unfit. But I'll take a broken body over a broken character.
English

@bill_kerrrrr Galvanizing, sure. That doesn't make it leadership.
English

@ybernstein It's both. Throwing his fist in the air is the most galvanizing thing he could ever have done for his party.
And to be honest, he could have ducked and run. Which he didn't.
English

@callmehouck A second look confirms for me that Trump is manifestly unfit to be President.
English

@skandojase @Peter_Fitz She's the Vice President? Surely that counts as "qualified"!?
English

@Peter_Fitz Honestly can't believe Kamala is in this position. How is she qualified? Seems far from competent.
English

Watching cable television wall to wall, I reckon it is now fairly sure that Kamala Harris will end up running against Trump.
Which begs the next question.
If that happens, who should be her running mate?
Our lines are open.
