Problem is a lot of western people read the Art of War. But never read the commentary around it, context, or history related to it. Then demands it reads like the 48 Laws of Power.
Then wonder why Asians see it as a classic. And frequently tie it to history.

Seoul still won't commit to joining the U.S. mission to reopen it. - Seoul says it is carefully reviewing its position on joining the U.S. mission in the Strait of Hormuz - Any decision will weigh international law, alliance obligations, and the security situation on the Korean Peninsula - Sending a warship is a last resort as it requires National Assembly approval and the Strait is an active warzone - South Korea is in discussions with the UK and France on supporting the reopening of the Strait through other means - On the damaged vessel, Seoul has only confirmed an explosion and that the fire originated from the engine room. Public transit in China is 10x better than in Europe.
It’s not even a comparison. It’s clean, trains are wide (makes a bit difference), it runs on time, and it feels very safe.

Fortunately, the capital regime is closed, so this stops spillover outside of China.
Housing inventories and provincial debts are high too.
