@ApoStructura Yes! We're still building out ~9 more acres in Tempe, and our 27-acre Mesa project was just approved.
We also just opened our Atlanta townhomes for tours and sales (42 affordable, for-sale homes, 1-3 beds)
English

@culdesac Never been to phoenix! But I’ll make sure to check it out when I do. Any plan to expand your Tempe location or into other cities?
English

@ApoStructura Imagine where we'd be now if NASA had built 6 Falcon 9 style boosters and 3 Crew Dragon capsules instead of the Shuttle. ISS would've been an American station built by 1985. If the legacy contractors weren't what they are.
English

Falcon 9 is what the shuttle should have been.
First stage reuse obviously needed to come before second stage/orbiter reuse.
Thanks to F9 we now have a vehicle that costs 20x less than the Shuttle, with a higher average payload mass to orbit and 30x the launch cadence.

Elon Musk@elonmusk
@ApoStructura Average payload mass delivered to orbit by Falcon 9 is higher than Shuttle too
English

@autumnanderson Building out the ai datacenters constellation at first

@ApoStructura 10,000 Starship launches a year? I love seeing Starship launch. but that's more than 800 Starship lauches per month! Where would they all be going?
English

SpaceX is aiming for Starship to launch 10,000 times a year.
At 100T of payload that means Starship will launch ~200x more mass to orbit in a year than Falcon 9 did over the past 15 years combined.
(~1,000,000T vs ~5,000T)

Robin@xdNiBoR
And this is what Starship will do. Falcon 9 is already insane, but Starship is next level
English

@DavidV_81 Yeah, but it should not have happened in the form that it did in the first place
English

@ApoStructura The shuttle was a good learning step. It just should have been replaced by the early to mid 1990s once we determined the idea was flawed.
English

@CiaranDanielz @xdNiBoR It’s even more detailed than the show, very hard sci fi, you can tell they are really into it
English

@ApoStructura @xdNiBoR Oh interesting. Are the books as detailed about the true science of it all like the show tried to show with how gravity made humans born off world unable to survive “a real planets gravity” as Chrisjen Avasarala said to that guy she was torturing and suspending in water to cope
English

@CiaranDanielz @xdNiBoR 2 people writing together under the pen name James s a Corey
English

@CiaranDanielz @xdNiBoR 9 books! The last 3 take place after the last season. It’s roughly 1 boon per season.
If you’re into the show and reading you’ll probably like them
English

@ApoStructura @xdNiBoR I didn’t even know it was based off books!
English

@eigenrobot Looks like Israel might be trying to force their hands by forcing Iran into acting its threats out and removing the “what if it gets worse” argument for not going in from Arab countries
English

situation seems to be
1. israel wants to destroy iranian regime
2. iran can only really hurt arab states + their customers, so
3. arabs are functionally iranian hostages
but maybe israel doesnt really care about that lol
interesting thing is,

@JxhnInv It will completely change the world. The begining of the true space age
English

@ApoStructura 10,000 a year would mean one every ~52min would be incredible…
English

In Europe we have hundreds of these, fully working and saving animal lives.
Why is America unable to build infrastructure?
End Wokeness@EndWokeness
California already spent $114 million on this unfinished wildlife crossing bridge (leading nowhere)
English

@MPrinParr There is almost as much gravity in orbit as on earth!
English

gravity from space ?
