@sendsley @royalsclubhouse I’m not ignoring those years. They were successful because of ownership and leadership. The second that changed so did the entire franchise. The last 2 ownership groups have really not had a single standard at all for winning. That is simply not their goal

@royalsclubhouse If coaches didnt matter. I promise everyone who thinks that. Professional sports owners would save the millions and millions they spend on them. Why pay a coach multiple million if they make no more of a difference than you or me for 100k?

@sendsley @royalsclubhouse The first 15 years or till about 1990 they had good success but since then being 500 is looked at as success which is a bar that is so low for any professional sports team. I get the 2014 and 2015 season but acting like those 2 season remove the lengthy org failures is naive

@royalsclubhouse @yeasir1111 36 pro teams have never won a championship in their sport the Royals have won 2. Red Wings and Hornets are on 10 year playoff drought’s. Angles 11 years (had Ohtani and Trout several of those years) and Jets 15 years. It’s bad right now but could be much much worse.
