@BreitbartNews The last 3 elections we've had bad options. While trump is personally a petulant child, he's still much better than the option we had.
Hoping for Marco next time

Mike Pence: "I think Republicans ought to do a lot of soul-searching" before 2028
"I think Republicans face a new time of choosing — whether we're going to stay on the path of the traditional conservative principles that have always defined our party for the last half century, or whether we're going to follow the siren song of populism"
"We've always been a party committed to low taxes, including low tariffs and free trade. Now, as we witnessed, the president imposed unilateral tariffs on friend and foe alike until the Supreme Court stepped in and used the Constitution to turn him back."
"I know Donald Trump better than his most ardent defenders know him. Okay? And he is not ideological. In fact, he often bristled when I would refer to policies as conservative. He would, with a wave of a hand, say to me, 'That's just common sense.' But now, as you see the stops and starts on our support for Ukraine under this administration, nationalizing American businesses, unilateral tariffs, price controls on everything from pharmaceuticals to credit cards, all of this should should create a backdrop for a very healthy debate over whether we're going to stay moving in the direction, on these issues, that President Trump has led our party, or whether we're going to re-ground ourselves back to those timeless conservative principles, I think, that have always made not only our party successful but, more importantly, have made America strong and prosperous and free."

@AdamGussow @JoshPhillipsPhD @rpondiscio Glad to see you have some boundaries, but are you OK with a book like that in high schools? Not the learning that we need in any school (IMO)

Maybe it’s just me, but I think that school districts not only have the right to limit the ability of sixth graders to check out books featuring prose and drawings that show them how to give and receive blowjobs, but are behaving virtuously when they do that.
I have no problem with blowjobs, as long as consenting adults are the admins and recipients.
But I’d like to give 12 year olds another year or two before they’re hurled into the adult world.

Anything can be a “book ban” if you just change the definition of the word “ban.” The opening line here is ridiculous: “PEN America defines a school book ban as...”
No. You don’t get to make your own definition for words so it fits your objectives. There is already a definition of the word “ban.”
“PEN America defines a school book ban as any action taken against a book based on its content and as a result of parent or community challenges, administrative decisions, or in response to direct or threatened action by governmental officials, that leads to a book being either completely removed from availability to students, or where access to a book is restricted or diminished.”

@RealWayneDupree Last thing we need is more government--then you need a watchdog unit, government auditors, maybe a whole new department in Washington---no thanks

California Rep Kevin Kiley says they have learned the $100 million dollar pacific palisades Fire Aid concert money was laundered to nonprofits
“What we have learned is absolutely beyond belief — Tens of thousands of people donated raising a hundred million dollars for what they was were told was direct relief for the victims. But now we've learned that this money didn't go to the victims at all. Instead, it went to nonprofits”
Here are some examples
- CA Native Vote Project: $100,000 for voter participation for Native Americans
- Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE): $250,000 for programs prioritizing undocumented immigrants
- Altadena Talks Foundation: $100,000 went to supported podcasts, including Toni Raines podcast
- NAACP Pasadena: $100,000 political advocacy
- Los Angeles Black Worker Center $550,000 to political advocacy organizations
- Center for Applied Ecological Remediation: $500,000 for fungus/microbe/plant soil remediation projects
Over $500,000 went to bonuses for nonprofit leaders and consultants

Mob of Pro-Hezbollah / Hamas shitheads raging against law enforcement and terrorizing the NYC Jewish community near a synagogue and day care.
Where’s my party’s condemnation?
Rabbi Poupko@RabbiPoupko
To summarize the evening: the mob came to a Synagogue, forced a Jewish day care to close early, came with a Hezbollah flag, cheered for intifada, and said "we don't want no Zionists here". We cannot normalize this behavior.
