💢 Power Rankings Update We're implementing some major changes to how the @RematchScout Power Rankings is calculated to better reflect recent form over historical performance. Here is a list of changes coming 🔽 1⃣ Updated calculation methodology to a 'Best of' formula, focusing on a sum of a team's top 3 most points achieved over the course of a month to reflect their ranking. This means that results from over a month before each Power Rankings is published will have a much weaker influence. 2⃣ Updated competition Tiering to better reflect difficulty and value of competition. 3⃣ Updated Time-Based Points Decay from month to day-based, resulting in a small but scaling decay on the "Actual Points" achieved as the result becomes more historical. These changes will impact the next Power Rankings, starting with the delayed European Power Rankings, to be published on Wednesday 3rd September.
