A cool milestone this week, as local legend @PaulTesori will caddie in his 25th PLAYERS. He’s looping this week for Adam Schenk. Tesori grew up in nearby St. Augustine, attended the tournament as a kid, played the 1994 U.S. Am at TPC Sawgrass and practiced there when he played pro golf, including a brief stint on the PGA TOUR (which is how he got to know Vijay Singh, whom he caddied for for years). When Tesori was on the bag for Webb Simpson’s PLAYERS win in 2018, he said, “This means about as much as anything could.” Tesori reunited with Simpson for this season, but is caddying for his good friend Schenk this week in the tournament that means the most to him.
