I lost him but know myself accompanied by his courage & what he taught me about the long fight. About holding space for principle and pragmatism. Our friendship changed me, formed me. Forever Graham Mitchell's example will feed my roots & be fused to my own core.

Graham Mitchell courageously facilitated conflict and resolution, where new opportunities for organizing are generated. Fearlessly, armed with an unshakable ethics, guided by principles that always affirmed the agency of the people involved in the struggle at hand.

I was very sad to learn today of the passing of Graham Mitchell. He was an effective member of our staff team when the NDP was elected government in 2015, serving both Minister of Finance Joe Ceci and Minister of Energy Marg McCuaig-Boyd. 1/3 #ableg
