Gurdev Singh Badal being the strongest dalit leader in Malwa was a grassroot level leader followed by Ranjit Singh barahmpura the strongest majhail leader of his times .same year Jathedar Tota Singh the firebrand ironman of Akali politics passed away
The major setback came when Sardar Parkash Singh ji Badal being the ਬਾਬਾ ਬੋਹੜ and the tallest Sikh leader in Indian politics passed away and now his man Friday sukhdev singh Dhindsa is no more .
All were the grassroot leaders with deep understanding of farmers and the problems of the poor .
Not considering the differences today in the Shiromani Akali dal and also knowing may be this feeling can be my own personal but sure there is always a feeling of emptiness and sense of something very big is missing in life .
