#introduction. I am Italian, living in Berlin. I like to play guitar and study Rust in little my spare time, and watch racing (F1, WEC).
 I speak #Italian, #English, and basic #Hebrew.

@awesomekling I’m experimenting with AI and Rust after testing some AI and Go last year and I think Rust is perfect for AI due to clear compiler errors, clippy warnings and the explicit nature of Rust. Still, it’s a tool, one should understand what the LLM spits out.

I feel like I need to publicly apologies to brother @LundukeJournal 😅 I am experimenting with vibe-coding by writing a FB Groups clone for ActivityPub in Rust 😂 No worries, I am also learning Ada for my Linux side-projects 🙃 Ada is the perfect antidote for the Rust-church 😎

If you were to create a list of the best specific Operating System releases in history… what would make that list for you? Specific releases, like “Windows 2000”, “Fedora Core 6”, “Mac System 6”, etc.

@alexis_roussel I tried Bluesky when it came out, and I couldn’t enjoy it. No conversations, lots of veiled (and not so) hate speech, and no way to really control your identity; it’s just a normal startup with some buzzwords on it. Mastodon and Nostr are much better. I wish tech X moved there…

The real story just got worse. I am in Switzerland, where there is no age verification, yet (sigh, it might come too). Still I got the message to enter my age. But when trying to do so, there was a network failure at the same time. First I though it was related, but in fact no. An hour later I could open Bluesky and there was no more age request. My conclusion: They have put age verification by default. And they are checking your country second. And I believe there are other place like DM where this is happening (see post from @adfichter ) So Bluesky seems to whitelist people that don't need age verification. This is scary.
