Embrace the future generation of automation. Tesla laid off 14,000 employees overnight. Amazon has replaced 100,000 humans with 750,000 robots since 2021. What the future generation would like? Humans are better than automation. We need to focus on the areas where automation cannot replace humans. Do not focus on technical skills only but also develop the following. - Emotional Quotient (empathy skills) - Social Quotient (interpersonal skills) - Adversity Quotient (Resilience) - Creativity and innovation - Curiosity and open-minded - Strategic problem-solving skills Believe in yourself and do not be afraid of automation. Embrace automation as a tool for effectiveness. We need to focus more on research and development in areas of sustainability, green and circular economy, enhancement technology in health, and finding new resources that have never been explored before. Keep on learning.

It is not easy to prove covert racism because it requires a compilation of a few events (this means the victim is more likely to be broken or not be in good mental health). @ygunawan2016/signs-of-covert-racism-in-the-workplace-b8bf3fba1571" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">medium.com/@ygunawan2016/…

Lesson from Jeff Bezos, The Founder of Amazon Jeff Bezos said, "A brand for a company is like a reputation for a person. You earn a reputation by trying to do hard things well." Brand or reputation does not happen overnight, it is built over the years to know the characters. The process starts with character, hard work, consistency, and brand or reputation. Jeff Bezos always wanted a partner without an agenda, deliverables, or conflicting motivations. Then he could brainstorm and push for more impact. Choose our inner circle wisely. Our inner circle has a greater influence in affecting our brand and reputation. The tips are: ✍️Listen to people without an agenda, deliverables, or conflicting motivations. They will give you honest feedback. ✍️Analyse the message from your inner circle. Did you hear more negative or positive messages from them? If you hear more negative messages without a solution to improve, is a reflection of true characters. Positive people give an empowering message. The subject is always about the issues, but they also provide an improvement and solution. Negative people's messages are more towards complaining messages. The subject is always about people and not the issues. They highlight other people's incapabilities based on their perspectives and narratives. ✍️Listen with discernment and intuition. What is the subject topic? People VS issues? Solution VS complaint? Facts VS narrative? Improvement VS status quo? When you hear the same messages over the years, it's a reflection of their true characters. "I cannot change the people around me, so I change the people around me." "Leadership is about making others better as a result of your presence and making sure that impact lasts in your absence" - Sheryl Sandberg COO of Facebook

Change! Why are we reluctant to change? Because it involves 🔨Uncertainties 🔨Out of comfort zone 🔨Risk 🔨Fear 🔨Costing money However, Growth involves changes. Not some changes are bad. Some are extremely fantastic. It is time to change ourselves and our environment when 🔨we are feeling dull, unhappy, and not motivated 🔨we are not progressing 🔨we don't achieve a fulfilling life or live life without purpose The most important thing in life is to be happy and live with a purpose in a positive environment and with positive people who support us. Nothing is greater than that. Not even money, title, or position. Embrace your life changes, as you will become stronger and more resilient in your life journey, and you will never regret it.

What is personal growth? It is a desire to remove the characters that inhibit us from reaching our potential. For example: Fear of failure Fear of rejection Imposter syndrome Insecurity Low confidence Self-doubt We keep on learning until the day we die.

Let's go through Rejection with Confidence! Lesson from Jeff Bezos and Jamie Siminoff. Jeff Bezos | The Founder of Amazon Jeff Bezos presented his idea about a store that was not limited by brick-and-mortar parameters to his former employer D.E. Shaw however his idea was rejected. He then quit, took a huge risk, and bet his future on his ability to figure out things he had never done before. Amazon was founded on 5th July 1994. Jeff used failure to his long-term advantage because he was willing to see failure as accelerated learning. Jamie Siminoff | The Founder of Ring In 2011, Jamie invented the 1st world Wi-Fi video doorbell in his garage and named it 'DoorBot'. His idea was rejected and humiliated by a Shark Tank entrepreneur in 2013. Then he rebranded his invention to 'Ring'. In 2018, he sold his company 'Ring' to Amazon for over $1 billion. Lesson to Learn ✍️Your idea was rejected because others could not visualise your vision. ✍️You are the architect of your vision, make a plan and execute it. ✍️Embrace criticism and rejection with an open heart, reflect, and learn from it.

Less Complain, Less Talk and Do More. What is the key? Passion. Passion leads to excellence. Passion drives people to work independently without supervision. Passion leads to creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Tips for the Leaders ✏️Choose people who have passion. ✏️People with passion don't complain when given a challenging task? Why? Because they are excited. Challenging task is equal to brain stimulation ✏️People with passion don't come with excuses. They come with accountability and responsibility. ✏️You can train passionate people with new skills to develop their potential. But you cannot train people to be passionate. That makes a big difference in the outcome With Gratitude and Blessings

My father passed away after the complications of a stroke. The funeral was a couple of days ago. It’s been hard to do daily life. On one hand, death brought the end of things On the other hand, it also brought new beginnings. My brothers and I came together like we never had before Where my dad had always taken charge and done things We had to take charge Where we mainly communicated with my dad We had to communicate with each other Where we had fallen into patterns of conflict avoidance We had to embrace the conflict and work things out. We are truly adults now. We can no longer turn to dad or mom for advice. It’s a hard place to be. More than anything, I’d like one more phone call from my dad, one more chance to ask a question, one more visit. But I am thankful that I had so many phone calls, so many conversations, so many special times with him. Whatever you do today, don’t put off calling your parents, your loved ones, or whoever matters to you. You might not have tomorrow.

We all have limited time and never-ending tasks. 24 hours a day, is not enough to complete all tasks (personal and professional). Throughout my life, I have raised my son alone without help and I am a high achiever because I have practiced the Pareto Law and the Eisenhower Matrix. Understanding the Pareto Law and the Eisenhower Matrix is important to achieve efficiency in task completion. What is Pareto Law? 20/80 ✏️Focus on 20% of tasks that bring 80% results What is the Eisenhower Matrix? ✏️Refer to the diagram below and concentrate on the activities: ✏️Do high-importance and high urgency ✏️Delete low-importance and low urgency ✏️Plan high-importance and low urgency ✏️Delegate low-importance and high urgency Things to Ponder ✏️Too many meetings are the cause of unproductiveness. ✏️Leaders - Only attend important meetings. For unimportant meetings, delegate to your subordinates. Elon Musk's 3 meeting rules: No big meetings, no frequent meetings, and if you don't add value to the meeting, please leave ✏️Leaders - Planning is critical for high-importance and low-urgency tasks. If you don't plan; the low-urgency tasks become high-urgency. Please note pushing the workers to work overtime with short notice because of your inability to plan is considered a risk to psychosocial hazard (refer to Safe Work Australia Website) This post is educational to promote mental health and effectiveness.

Liminal Space is a transition space from where you are to where you will go. Sometimes in life, we are going through a transition period. This is inevitable and something that we cannot control. The Liminal Space is the place where fear and faith co-exist. Fear and faith have something in common. They are not real, and they are in our thoughts. Both ask us to believe in something we cannot see. What do you choose? please read the story @ygunawan2016/the-liminal-space-bc065a2fc42e" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">medium.com/@ygunawan2016/…
