Meanwhile, there’s a huge demand for electricians, HVAC technicians, plumbers, tilers, POP installers, glass installers, and other construction and maintenance professionals. Then there is a corporate company asking for interns with seven years of experience. This imbalance is part of the madness we’re seeing today.

Gen Z might be the only generation that needs a degree, a portfolio, 3 internships, and a side hustle just to get ghosted by jobs paying $17/hr
