🚫The UAE has revoked residency permits for all Iranian citizens — including holders of “golden visas” A golden visa is a long-term residence permit that the Emirates granted to foreigners in exchange for investment in the country’s economy. Iran’s Tasnim news agency estimates Iranian assets in the UAE (real estate, investments, bank accounts) at around $530 billion. These funds could now be frozen or confiscated. UAE authorities acted unilaterally and without explanation.
