Normalize having intellectual arguments with your friends and your circle. It's really going to help you, except all you keep are dumbs and close minded, and most importantly you shouldn't be close minded yourself.

You can do everything right and still fail. That’s life. The risk is the price. The failure is the lesson. The pain is part of the deal. And never forget this: A good heart won’t save you. If you’re not careful, it will be used. 🖤

@timothymoyofola Hmmmm I can relate perfectly to this, I could remember I was the only student that wasn't questioned during my project defense back in the UI because the external super was already tired

Hardwork Alone Isn't Enough, You Need "Luck" I realized this again recently at a retreat. A few people were scheduled to make presentations about five different sets. The first presenter finished, and people tore the presentation apart. Heavy critiques. Tough questions. The second presenter went next, and I was fully involved asking questions, analyzing, critiquing. By the time we got to the last presenter… I was tired. Mentally exhausted. Truthfully, I didn’t even listen. I was pressing my phone. My attention was gone. I noticed many others were tired too. When the presentation ended, I found others saying, “Wow… nice presentation.” But immediately, something hit me. Nice presentation… or was it just good timing? Later that night, I couldn’t stop thinking about it. I spoke with a friend, and we both agreed on something important: What if the applause wasn’t because it was exceptional…but because by that time, everyone was already tired of critiquing? And that’s when a bigger lesson became clear to me. That’s how life works sometimes. That’s how favor works. That’s how grace works and we all need an element of it Two people can do the same thing. One gets criticized. Another gets praised. Not because one worked harder… but because timing, atmosphere, and grace aligned differently. You see this in school too. During project defense, it’s not always the best presentation that gets the easiest ride. Sometimes, it’s simply because the lecturers are tired. Sometimes, it’s because someone before you annoyed them badly. Sometimes, it’s because grace decided to speak at that moment. This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t work hard. We absolutely should we and extremely hard. But here’s the humility every mature person must have: It’s not every time your hard work will speak loudest. Sometimes, grace will speak for you. That’s why you don’t only pray for strength. You pray for favor. You pray for timing. You pray for grace. Because there are moments when grace will cover what effort cannot. Happy Sunday.

The ‘hard’ part of entrepreneurship isnt a rocky cut scene. It’s years of… Not knowing if it’s gonna work. Being in over your head. Having your idea almost die everyday. Trying. Waiting. Seeing it not work. Learning. Trying again. That’s what the ‘hard’ feels like.

You’ll help her through her toughest battles. She is incapable of helping you with yours. The second you NEED her in this capacity. Not only does she disappoint you. But she won’t find you attractive anymore. Handle your own shit. Plus hers. Man up.

In the beginning, you’re fighting a wolf with a stick. Then you’re fighting a bear with a crew. By the end, you’re fighting a dragon with an army. As we progress, our problems don’t get easier, we just have more resources to solve them.
