But this should give every #Jewish person cause to question every right wing accusation of "paid protester" from here on out.
Far too many people eat those lies up when it's Black causes.

I hope the world knows people are getting paid $250 to attend the protest for Isr*el in DC today. All those pro Palestine protests you see? No one got paid a dime to show up to support.

This also reminds me of how I got a lung exam before.
I was having an anxiety attack. Rather than give me meds, the doc goes "let's go through ✨every symptom you have✨ and see if there's another reason."

There was no "opting out" of Torah, there was no "vote", and even if you THOUGHT "well I don't need to keep the Torah, I'll be ok", you were wrong.

When some synagogue or Jewish organization holds a "Jewish unity" event, and the program or partners doesn't include Jews and leaders from every religious movement or every edah (ethnic background of Jews), then it's not really a Jewish unity event. Just sayin

I'm going to judge favorably here and assume that they're addressing the issues.
In a year, a LOT of teaching moments can come up.
If taken advantage of, teaching moments add up.

@ylove (Place of worship) after tree of life & poway. We were awakened to our conditionally participation in progressive causes as long as we were “good Jews” w/ the women’s March. Our horror is seeing 1000s of people take to the streets to celebrate & justify the 10/7 atrocities

@ylove I would disagree. First off, being the other has been built into the Jewish psyche over the past few millennia. Nor have we been blind to the growing antisemitism in this country. We didn’t tune out “the Jews will not replace us.” We were scared knowing that our place could be /1
