@ynoham Oh fuck, I've been looking for this game. At least I think it was this one. I saw it on Youtube a long time ago and couldn't find it again. Maybe my memory is just bad, but did the game have a more purple-ish color at some point in development?

@AlexBeyman Yeah it’s pre-rendered, I thought about doing more frames but decided to hold off. Gonna try, I suspect at a certain point it will look too advanced for the retro style though. 16 might be a good balance!

@OhayouEdboy Thanks! Not really horror aside from the setting, more an action-RPG in the vein of older Monster Hunter and Phantasy Star Online, with a little Dark Souls and Resident Evil mixed in. Focus is on character growth, combat, and exploration.

@ynoham What kind of gams is this? Survival horror? Looks awesome!

@SauceBoss47 Early Access starting late ‘26 or early ‘27! Nothing more concrete yet, since this is all just me it’s very much dependent on what my time and sanity allow this year :)

@RavenColeVibes Glad you like it! Early Access starting late ‘26 or early ‘27, but there will be a demo coming as soon as I can finish getting it ready, hoping for March!

@ynoham I'm obsessed with this game, is there a release window yet? 🙂

@revenant_MMXX I want the core experience to be similar solo or with up to 4 players - same missions, with number and strength of enemies adjusted accordingly. There will be options for some more role-based builds intended for co-op, but not required.

@ynoham Will this game be viable for solo play or is it designated friendslop?

@lerripunc A little bit, at extreme angles. You could add more frames for different camera elevations, but I guess the trick here is since the statue is higher than the walkable area, you can’t really ever look at it from above!

@ynoham When you rotate the camera vertically doesn't the billboard sprite get distorted or are there ways to make it adapt with the proper perspective?

@imhereforsoups Demo - definitely. Early Access - hopefully, towards the end if I make it, but might be early next.

@me0wseverywhere Should be in the playtest in a few more weeks! It’ll be included with the rest of the first stage once that’s done.

@ynoham Do you have an idea when this update will drop?

@FTZombie I use a 7-year-old laptop that wasn’t especially powerful even when I got it lol. Only real requirement should be a graphics config that supports Vulkan - I expect any hardware made in the last 10ish years to be able to run it no problem!

@ynoham Q: what are your development pc specs? Just trying to gauge what I the minimum specs to be to run the game keep up the great work 👍🏾
