In my opinion, the text feels a bit dated and difficult to engage with. Honestly, there are other works on this list that have had a much more personal impact on me. On top of that, the almost cult-like following around the Bible can be off-putting—it sometimes gives off this ‘drink my punch, it’s the only punch worth drinking’ vibe. That kind of attitude ends up invalidating the whole thing for me and turns me off altogether
