Iedereen kiest zelf waar hij over schrijft. Als iemand vindt dat een situatie aandacht verdient, dan is dat zijn keuze, of je het ermee eens bent of niet.

@yoepjansen @chrisklomp Ik zou er in ieder geval geen artikel aan wijden. Ik zou, als ik zelf mensen LETTERLIJK de kanker had gewenst (wat Chris meermaals heeft gedaan), mijn nederige smoelwerk houden en werken aan mijn herstel in plaats van mij zo te profileren op X.

Ik ga echt niet reageren op die paar mensen die haten, maar een klein voorbeeld van hoe verrot sommige mensen zijn. Nadat ik vandaag een verhaal publiceerde over dat ik kanker heb, heb je dus mensen die gaan zoeken naar wat ik er zelf ooit over schreef. Maar dan halen ze dus wel erg vals de context weg.
Zo werd mijn laatste tweet als individuele tweet neergezet om te laten zien dat ik niet deug.
Dit is de hele conversatie. En dan reageer ik ook nog eens op een vriendin van mij.
Echt, sommige mensen zijn hun kompas niet eens kwijt, die hebben nooit een kompas gehad.

Just spoke to @POTUS about our European allies’ unwillingness to provide assets to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning, which benefits Europe far more than America. I have never heard him so angry in my life. I share that anger given what’s at stake. The arrogance of our allies to suggest that Iran with a nuclear weapon is of little concern and that military action to stop the ayatollah from acquiring a nuclear bomb is our problem not theirs is beyond offensive. The European approach to containing the ayatollah’s nuclear ambitions have proven to be a miserable failure. The repercussions of providing little assistance to keep the Strait of Hormuz functioning are going to be wide and deep for Europe and America. I consider myself very forward-leaning on supporting alliances, however at a time of real testing like this, it makes me second guess the value of these alliances. I am certain I am not the only senator who feels this way.
