I went for one NHS management accounting interview at Warrington, I travelled 5 hours to and fro. I was only asked 6 questions which I answered very well because I was familiar with the questions. When I was leaving one of the interviewer followed to the door and told me see you soon. I was happy in my mind I thought I had gotten the job only to receive feedback that I did very well but the u have a strong candidate….I was really pained. That was the last time I ever travelled for any interview

Microsoft Teams actually has this horrible feature that automatically marks you as “Away” if you haven’t moved your mouse in a few minutes and you can’t even override it. You look away from the screen for 5 minutes and suddenly it will swear you fled the planet.
