The first 30 minutes after you post are the most important 30 minutes.
Here's why:
X's algorithm uses early engagement as a signal for distribution.
High engagement in the first 30 minutes = shown to more people.
Low engagement = buried.
What to do immediately after posting:
1. Reply to the first comment within 5 minutes
2. Leave great replies on 3–5 other posts in your niche (their engagement = their readers see your name)
3. Do NOT close the app and forget about it

You grow it — by staying in the conversation.
30 minutes of active engagement per post doubles average reach.

The exact anatomy of a thread that earns followers (not just likes):
Post 1 — The hook: One sentence that makes stopping the scroll feel irresponsible. Ask a question or make a bold claim. Nothing else.
Post 2 — The tension: Why this matters. What's at stake for the reader. Make them feel the problem before you give them the answer.
Posts 3–7 — The content: Each post is one idea. Complete. Standalone. If someone screenshots just this post, it still makes sense.
Post 8 — The turn: The thing they didn't expect. The counterpoint. The uncomfortable truth. This is the post that gets shared.
Final post — The close: One action they can take today. A question they can answer below. A reason to follow for the next part.
