@DavidHundeyin I think APC scanned through Twitter for beggars and just recruited them. Cause this is no longer a coincidence.

In 2005, my uncle suddenly came out for the chairmanship of our LGA. Even we, his relatives, felt he just wanted to make up the numbers. He wasn't even among the top 5. Incidentally, the main contenders kept fighting and tearing their party apart. At some point, the then governor said that since none of them was ready to calm down, he would offer the ticket to my uncle. That was how this man became an appointed caretaker and later executive chairman o. So when you see politicians printing posters even when they can barely feed their families, they are acting with the hope that something will happen😆

Haha, Arsenal – the Premier League’s only proper midweek gladiators left! 🔥 Everyone else is tucked up nice and cosy after the weekend, but the Gunners? Nah. We’re out here fighting in the Champions League midweek like it’s normal, then turning up for a Premier League battle straight after. Double header? More like double trouble for the fixture gods. The only other team playing tonight? Please. It’s just a bog-standard Premier League match they could’ve easily shoved on yesterday… but nooo, the FA’s bent over backwards to gift them a primetime TV slot for some extra cash. “Special treatment for our darlings” vibes 😂 Proper “protect the broadcast money” energy while Arsenal get the proper European + domestic slog. Last team flying the flag in Europe and getting the fixture pile-on. Typical. We love it. You absolute fixture-munching machines. COYG 😂

Good morning, Gooners ☀️🔴 Pressure is a privilege. This is where it matters. Stay calm, stay loud, stay together. We’re right there. One game at a time. Let’s finish strong. 👊 #COYG #Arsenal

🚨🇸🇳 Nico Jackson’s agent Diomansy Kamara: “Nico is having an excellent season with 28 matches played, 10 goals”. “African champion, German champion and also qualified for the (cup) final. Bayern Munich did not want to activate the buy option, and Nico remains 100% focused on the Champions League semi-final against PSG, a very important moment for him and for the club”. “Bayern is a very big institution; the most important thing is to win as many trophies as possible by the end of the season”. “The future… who can predict it? @FootballEra_ Mikel Arteta is the issue. I'm done supporting his lackluster football. He has failed to build a convincing team that can instill fear in the hearts of our opponents. He should be allowed to leave peacefully after this season.

Something is seriously wrong at Arsenal. There are clear technical and tactical issues, and the players are trying to compensate for them with hard physical and mental labour — excessive running, intensity, passion, even shouting. At this stage of the season, when fatigue has already set in after putting their bodies on the line all year, they should simply be playing football. Instead, they’re using hard labour to cover up the poor football on display from a tactical and technical level, and that’s exactly why they now look physically and mentally exhausted. Meanwhile, Man City players aren’t relying on heavy physical or mental labour, they’re just playing football within a system that works. That’s why they look fresh, even in the middle of a title race that could come down to goal difference.

@chymaker What he did there is tactical. He knows his audience is gullible so he keeps feeding them what they want to hear. Omojuwa and other APC SW as you should know by now are serpents who are ready to play all kinds of politics. They don't care how they win - even if pple are killed.

Throwback video: Interviewer: “What is giving you the confidence that you can win your second term as Anambra State Governor?” Mr. Peter Obi: “I’m very confident because, within the past three years, people can see the total turnaround in the state. We are the only people who can challenge any Nigerian to come and see what we have done in three years, and if they have it better anywhere in Nigeria, they should let us know.”

The concept of a man who as governor could not sponsor his state’s team to National sports festival or even build a township stadium telling Nigerian youths the usefulness of sports and they’re lapping it up. All of you love Fugazi. I hope he wins so you can witness it in 3D

The Transformative Power of Sport Sports have the unique power to forge identity and legacy. Iconic figures like Pelé and Plato - originally named Edson Arantes do Nascimento and Aristocles - carried names earned through athletic prowess rather than birth. This reveals a profound truth: sports are not merely entertainment; they are a crucible for character and excellence. With this in mind, I arrived early in Ibadan today and observed the ongoing clean-up exercise. I parked beside the Lekan Salami Stadium, where groups of young people were actively engaged in basketball, lawn tennis, handball, and judo. It was uplifting to witness their discipline and energy. Such scenes reflect progress and offer a powerful glimpse into the immense potential of our youth. I made it a point to stop and encourage them because sports are more than just a game - they are a lifeline as well as a critical sector that deserves greater investment and support. For these young men, sports serve as a powerful engine for social mobility and personal reinvention. By instilling relentless discipline and teamwork, the field becomes a space where they can transcend their circumstances, sharpen their resolve, and transform their raw potential into a lasting legacy of excellence. A new Nigeria is Possible. -PO

In my 15 years of Sports Journalism - I have covered five National Sports Festivals, and there has never been a time that Team Anambra missed any edition. Not in the last decade, and certainly not when Peter Obi was Governor. They have always participated. Less than a month after taking office in (March) 2006, following the removal of Chris Ngige by the courts, the transition did not impede Anambra from sending a team to participate at the 2006 Gateway Games in Abeokuta In fact, the Local Organizing Committee (LoC) could not alter the brochure for the Games, which they had already prepared ahead of time; still showcasing Ngige as the Governor, one month after PO had resumed. If he wasn't keen on sports, he could have used an excuse that he was still new in office, and not release funds. Anambra might not have fared so well at that Games, but they competed. You just summarily tweeted that they never sent a team, when there's so much proof on the internet that they were at all the NSF when PO was Governor.

For the people here, who support Peter Obi. So you mean that if Peter Obi isn't on the ballot as a presidential candidate, you won't come out to vote for anyone during the elections? You will allow Tinubu to rule again? You're that selfish that it's Peter Obi or nothing? I stand with you guys PETER OBI OR NOTHING

@oladipupo_raji @PeakSxnti By now the boys should have an understanding of the demon we are competing with. Anyways, we look forward to the UCL semis. I pray we improve. Arteta hasn't built us a k!ller team. Teams should be scared of us most especially at the Emirates.

@oladipupo_raji @PeakSxnti That's the difference between Arsenal and City. Every game is a final and everyone needs to be ready. We should not be talking about panicking like we are Port Vale. Vicktor isn't impressing me at all. We don't only need the win, we also need the clean sheets and goals.
