▫️Cyberpunk 2077 ▪️PS5 vs PS5 Pro ⚙️Digital Foundry

90FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 with PS5 Pro!!! With a new Raytracing PRO mode being added!!! WOW!!! 🤯

Watching PC "MR" gamers crash out at PS5 Pro being... 4K (AI upscaled) @ 40fps + RT Reflections + RT Ambient Occlusion + RT Skylight + RT Shadows + RT Emissive Lighting @ $900 Also seeing them claim it's "still RDNA2" whilst having BVH8 RT Structure. Insecure much?! 🤭

Cyberpunk 2077 will have 3 distinct PS5 Pro modes: ➡️Ray Tracing Pro: Enables all available ray tracing enhancements, delivering the most visually advanced version. Targets 40fps on variable refresh rate-enabled displays. 30fps otherwise. ➡️Ray Tracing Mode: Sweet spot between visuals and performance. Improvements across the board while maintaining smooth 60fps. ➡️Performance Mode: Highest possible frame rate for fast and fluid gameplay. Reaches up to 90 frames per second while maintaining high image fidelity. Free PS5 Pro upgrade will be out April 8. blog.playstation.com/2026/04/07/cyb…

Cyberpunk 2077 PS5 Pro update is releasing TOMORROW on April 8th and its HUGE: - RT reflections on consoles for the first time - PSSR implementation, upscaling the game to 4K - Ray-traced lighting, shadows, and reflections have ALL been implemented - Ray Tracing Pro mode: 40FPS via VRR or 30FPS without, with all RT features turned on - Performance Mode: No RT with PSSR, Hits as high as a consistent 90FPS - Ray Tracing mode: best of both worlds, RT at a locked 60FPS output This is a major visual upgrade that takes full advantage of the hardware, a gigantic step-up over the blurry output of the base PS5 that we have today, 100% must check this out!

I'm seeing a lot of people pushing back against, or straight up denying the rumor that Sony is moving away from PC. For those who are unaware, the reports indicate Sony no longer plans to release their internally developed single player games (Ghost of Yotei, Saros, Wolverine etc...)on PC, but instead keep them fully exclusive to their console. However, Multiplayer live service (Marathon, Horizon Hunters Gathering etc...) and second party exclusives (Death Stranding 2, Kena 2 etc...) are still planned to release on PC. Also keep in mind there are multiple credible insiders reporting this. They are sourced, not just made up by random users. So when you see Nixxes Software's description on PlayStation's website stating they still do PC ports, that's why.
