@MahmoudTokura @Chindaah See clownery.. you can’t change Jack. The point of ethnic identity is ancestry… if you change your name and move to a region, you will have to point to your families house there or your forefathers abode. Or else you’d always be a stranger or a visitor even years after.

@Chindaah Big facts! I can legally change my name to any tribal name I want, move to that region, and start living there as a native. That is the flex of being a Nigerian. Our diversity gives us options.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) remitted a total of N1.804 trillion to the Federation Account in February 2026. This is according to its latest Monthly Report Summary. The figure represents a sharp increase from the N726 billion recorded in January, reflecting improved revenue performance and stricter remittance practices. nairametrics.com/2026/04/11/nnp…

@Jimmy4god_ @ennyola0015 Someone is talking about the next governor of Lagos and hoping it is someone who keeps the development and growth of Lagos but your brain started to think of southern and Northern Nigeria? Where on earth does the Lagos govt become responsible for those parts of the country?

See the convoy of Ghana’s President, John Mahama, smaller than Remi Tinubu’s. Ghana’s GDP is around $2,390 more than double that of Nigeria’s $1,084. While, Nigeria’s poverty rate is about 56.2 % double that of Ghana’s 23.4%. See the difference in leadership!✍️

Foreigners? Nigeria? If there’s one thing I love about Nigeria, it is the fact that every affluent neighbourhood is occupied by at least 95% Nigerians. You think Nigeria has anywhere occupied like foreigners like they do in Cantonment? 🤣

What we built at the grassroots will forever stand as a benchmark. We didn’t just make promises, we did the work. The work was seen, felt, transformed lives and hopes were renewed across Agboyi-Ketu and Greater Kosofe. We changed the narrative, we set a new standard: one that is truly the best in class. Wherever there was a need, we showed up.
Every area of development was touched. Name it, we delivered. And now, the time has come to answer the big question! What next? The time has come to do even more! Kosofe deserves stronger, louder, and more effective representation. That is why I am stepping forward: ready, prepared, and committed to take this to the next level. I have never disappointed, and I will not start now. This is about showing what true representation looks like! Purposeful, visible, and impactful. I urge you all to support My aspiration to serve as Member, House of Representatives, Kosofe Federal Constituency. Yes, excellent performance in the Executive Arm, now is time to craft policies with care benefiting the lives of our people. Together, we will build on this legacy and take Kosofe even higher. Stronger Representation; Stronger Kosofe!

@nzemmili Power is business actually… if you can’t make back the money or atleast money to sustain, you won’t get investors. Infact it will be bad business to start with. Unlike road infrastructure that is one time. Electricity costs you for everytime you generate and distribute.

The most expensive gas project in North Africa was in Egypt which is the latest, & was 4-8 cents/kWh. It took $4B-$7B to light up 20m people, but this dumbo wants to explain away why Southeast couldn’t get $4b investment for such since 3yrs now. Our leaders hit a jackpot!
Okwesilieze@Okwesilieze82

@nzemmili You are sooo low IQ . You just cooked rubbish from thin air with totally different context . We need power plants like 5 or 6 that will generate up to 5 GW that alone will cost 10-20 Billion dollars , the transmission and distribution infra will cost another 5 bn dollars

@nzemmili We don’t need to even annex countries to actually be involved in geopolitics… we acc sit at that position in Waf. Our unstable political system is just the issues. We build a system that works for us, then we can back our position with actions. They need us more Dw

There’s a reason I want Nigeria to sit up, and become the USA of subsaharan Africa. Take over the English speaking part of Cameroon, create states from it, and dare their military to react. Install presidents in our neighbouring countries, and maintain the peace by force!
Nze@nzemmili

Naaah, I’m pro expansion. I even want Nigeria to take Bakasi back, and dare Cameroon to challenge our navy. We’ve seen how useless smaller countries are, and I prefer the larger countries. ☺️

STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE PRESIDENT TINUBU APPROVES N3.3 TRILLION PAYMENT PLAN TO RESTORE RELIABLE ELECTRICITY President Bola Tinubu has approved the payment plan to finally settle the outstanding debts under the Presidential Power Sector Financial Reforms Programme. The debt repayment plan followed the final review of the legacy debts that have beset the power sector for more than a decade. The long-standing debts accumulated between February 2015 and March 2025. Following verification, ₦3.3 trillion has been agreed as a full and final settlement, ensuring a fair and transparent resolution. Implementation has begun, with 15 power plants signing settlement agreements totalling ₦2.3 trillion. The Federal Government has already raised ₦501 billion to fund these payments. Out of the amount, N223 billion has been disbursed, with further payments underway. What this means for Nigerians: With payments reaching the power value chain, generation will be more stable. With power plants supported, electricity reliability will improve. And as the sector stabilises, more investment, more jobs, and better service will follow. “This programme is not just about settling legacy debts. It is about restoring confidence across the power sector — ensuring gas suppliers are paid, power plants can keep running, and the system begins to work more reliably," explained Olu Arowolo-Verheijen, Special Adviser on Energy to President Tinubu. “It is part of a broader set of reforms already underway — including better metering and service-based tariffs that link what you pay to the quality of electricity you receive. “The government is also prioritising power supply to businesses, industries, and small enterprises — because reliable electricity is critical to creating jobs, supporting livelihoods, and growing the economy. “The goal is simple: more reliable power for homes, stronger support for businesses, and a system that works better for all Nigerians," she added. President Tinubu has commended all stakeholders who supported efforts to resolve the legacy issues in the power sector. He has also confirmed that the next phase (Series II) will begin this quarter.
