Having said that, while somewhat tangential: ClickUp is also at least in part a cautionary tale around using AI in cutting-edge (read: risky, perhaps mildly irresponsibly).
They doubled down into AI driven content generation. After an initial surge, their blog ended up losing the vast majority of its traffic, including the content that was getting plenty of high quality traffic before

If your friends aren't talking about:
- 1,000 tech workers getting laid off per day
- Interview loops going from 4 rounds to 7
- Companies hiring fewer but interviewing more
- Mock interviews > mock confidence
- The prep content everyone's using being from 2022
- Anonymous coaching
- Why ""strong hire"" is the only hire now

Read the complete Amazon DS interview guide here for free: zurl.co/FlQTb
Most candidates focus only on SQL, ML, and case studies for the Amazon Data Scientist interview.
But behavioral rounds carry massive weight at Amazon because every answer is evaluated against Leadership Principles.
A weak behavioral interview can reject even technically strong candidates.

I'm not gonna lie, the @Meta layoffs are some of the most dystopian I've ever seen. They got told to work from home, they were sent the emails at 4AM in the morning. Those who weren't impacted have software on their computer that tracks their every move, preparing AI to take their job as well. They're literally training the AI that will eliminate their position as well.
Meanwhile, Meta is raking in RECORD PROFITS.
I am a massive, unapologetic AI enthusiast. Yet, this is NOT the future I had in mind.
I wish for Meta to crash and burn. This is not the way. Literally nobody benefits from this.

What is actually going on with tech interviews??
companies are laying off everyone AND making it harder to get hired at the same time
> the layoffs:
- 137,000+ tech workers laid off in 2026 so far
- Meta cutting 8,000 more jobs on May 20
- Oracle wiped out 30,000 roles in a single email
- Block fired 40% of its entire workforce
- 1,000 tech workers losing jobs every single day
> but then the hiring bar:
- companies added more interview rounds than ever
- mid-level engineers (3-7 yrs) are getting hit the hardest
- every job description now reads like an AI research role
- candidates are getting down-leveled even when they pass
- a Google engineer of 15 years said modern interviews were unrecognizable
> fewer jobs. more rounds. higher bar. and everyone preparing with the same outdated content.
not an easy situation for *any* candidate right now

As the recently expanded partnership with @AnthropicAI demonstrates, @SpaceX is offering AI compute as a service at significant scale.
We are in discussions with other companies to do the same.
Over time, especially with orbital data centers, we expect to serve AI at extremely high scale.

Unsure about this. It seems like companies are using their big losses, from AI as an excuse to let people go.
AI is not giving them the results they want yet. And they still need to make the stock look good.
The people who still have a job are left to deal with all the problems that AI creates.

@unusual_whales Hot take:
In the next 1 year, hands-on work experience will matter more than a diploma.
