@MadsDavies (Lay but employed) ministry path has been diocese of Oxford, diocese of Durham, diocese of Birmingham, diocese of Leicester, diocese of Ely. Support networks have been constantly disrupted and lay (youth) ministers often have less available support

I'm looking at vacancies & clergy deployment at the moment. As someone who has always lived a short drive from family/friends, I do admire people who take posts that take them far away. I'm not sure I'd cope very well.

I love being able to offer a retreat to those in children, youth and sports ministry across @DioceseofEly and further afield. So grateful for wonderful friends @priestwendy @mattlongnow @beccadean bringing wisdom and creativity and joy to the day.

We are allowing ourselves to feel sad - to feel the loss of the random cuppa’s, or dog walks, or just being able to walk into homes unannounced. We are feeling the fear of not knowing which friendships will stick in the long term, and feeling daunted by rocking our boys worlds.

Tomorrow is the day we cease to be residents of this wonderful village and church community. This place has been our safe haven, the people our change bringers, my colleagues such grace givers, it’s school Jude’s springboard.
