@yr_awfc Because we as fans don’t own them. We can have our favourites and be upset they’re leaving. But we can’t give hate for them making decisions about their lives. Do you hate on every friend that starts a new relationship? Do you hate on every work friend that gets a better job?

@yr_awfc Some fans have been disrespecting them for months now and already giving them hate. Wanting them to leave and constantly saying how shit they are. If fans believe they’re that shit it shouldn’t matter where they go. Demanding respect while not showing the same is crazy!

i know some of you won’t agree with this but if mead and mccabe actually go to city they deserve so much hate. if you’ve been at a club for so long and then transfer to one of their biggest rivals that’s such a huge betrayal and genuinely just disrespectful to fans

@brades13 theyre completely entitled to move to a different club in england, but they just can’t expect fans to support it when they’re moving to a rival club. i’m just saying they could have left on good terms with fans and they can’t really expect that to be ongoing after they leave now

@aimeekkellyxx i just think they could go anywhere else in europe or the us and still play at a high level. regardless of whether they were offered contracts they’ve both played at the club for long enough to owe fans some kind of loyalty

@yr_awfc You can’t expect players to drop a level when other top clubs are willing to give them what Arsenal aren’t. if they were offered contracts and declined to go to a rival then fair enough but I guarantee if Arsenal offered mccabe a contract she’d 100% take it but they aren’t
