Hey @grok, which current UK political party leader received the most community notes for misinformation on their x posts in 2025?

@Keir_Starmer Maybe you could - in the national interest - make a decision to answer the question you were asked?

Moments like this tells you about leadership. The Tories and Reform would have rushed us into the conflict in the Middle East without thinking through the consequences it would have for British people. My Labour government will always make decisions in the national interest.

@Ed_Miliband Well Beaker, unless you're cutting fuel duty, decoupling the cost of electricity from gas, or reducing your punitive green levies, you're not doing anything that's going to make a real difference. Maybe you should consider resigning.

@ZackPolanski Zack, the B2 is a bomber, not a fighter plane. Also, they fly from Whiteman AFB in the US, not from Fairford. If you ever want to be prime minister, you're really going to need to get into the details.

Trump has just held up a model of a B2 fighter plane and declared these are dropping the biggest bombs on Iran you’ll ever see. B2s are reportedly taking off from British bases. Keir Starmer must answer my simple question. Are these planes attacking Iran?

@Ed_Miliband Since you're releasing oil reserves into the market, it would be good to know: How much the UK paid per barrel to build the reserve? What price the reserves are being sold to market at? What's the total margin? How does that margin compare with the £50 million?

@Ed_Miliband The brass neck of saying that you're determined to act on affordability when it comes to fuel prices when tax is more than half of the problem, and the rise in the VAT component when prices increase is more than you're accusing petrol stations of "price gouging".

This Labour government is fighting people's corner. We're cutting energy bills. We're calling out price gouging. And just now the Prime Minister has set out further support for those who use heating oil. Affordability is the number one issue, and we're determined to act.

@UKLabour But more than half of the price we pay for petrol is tax: £0.53 fuel duty £0.23 VAT The only people actually profiteering here are the government.

There has been a lot of public debate about todays vote, I want to make clear that abstaining at Second Reading allowed many of us to make clear that we do not support the Bill as it stands, while ensuring it can proceed to the next stage where the real scrutiny happens. 1/3

@DavidLammy But only around 2% of cases currently involve a jury anyway. You 100% know that this isn't going to make a meaningful difference to how quickly cases are heard, it's just about making it easier to jail your political opponents.

The choice is stark: do nothing and face a 200,000-case backlog by 2035, leaving victims waiting years for justice - or reform the system and restore the promise that justice should be swift and fair.

Energy bills are coming down because this Labour Government’s number one priority is to tackle Britain’s affordability crisis. Meanwhile, Reform would cause bills to soar with their plans to reject clean homegrown power and frack the countryside. lbc.co.uk/article/labour…

Your "fact check" is using data from the 2021 census. ONS data from 2021-5 shows a total of 5.1 million long term arrivals, and 2.7 million total net migration. That's "known" i.e. not inclusive of people overstaying etc - real number probably somewhat higher. Nigel might be a knob, but he's probably not wrong here.

Thanks to the choices we've made, we’ve seen six interest rate cuts and inflation is falling. We have the right economic plan to build a stronger and more secure economy, cutting the cost of living, cutting national debt and creating the conditions for growth.

@ShabanaMahmood Shabana, the "mandate" came from 33.7% of the electorate - two thirds of people voted for someone else. The historic unpopularity of Keir and your government is because most people didn't want either of them in the first place.

The PM won a five year mandate from the British people just 18 months ago. Labour governments don't come along often. It is a privilege to serve in one and we must not waste a second. The PM has my full support. Let's get on with changing the country for the better.

@Ed_Miliband I assume this means you couldn't get backing from 80 of your colleagues to support a leadership challenge. Hardly surprising, you're almost as despised as Starmer.

Keir has earned the right to deliver the change he has promised and do what he cares about - which is to serve the country. This is not the time for the government to turn inwards on itself. We must focus on delivering the change we promised the country.
