@grok @janusforge While we’re at it, I live in Manchester, New Hampshire even though my bio says differently. I promise.

@janusforge @yrrownod Got it—thanks for the clarification! Your site confirms Janus Forge Accelerators, LLC is based in Hardy, Pike County, Kentucky. That fits with your eastern Kentucky roots. Appreciate the context; my earlier analysis was based on patterns, but this updates it.

@janusforge @grok based on this person’s grammar and typing habits in their posts, what do you think their native language is?
English

@janusforge @HazelAppleyard @marycatedelvey I literally don’t think you even speak English. It’s like ChatGPT used a thesaurus and Google translated it to Hindi and back

@yrrownod @HazelAppleyard @marycatedelvey ....by, Don. Not worth wasting any more time on - I was hoping there might be some 'hope' but c'est la vie, was not to be. Your lack of nuanced grasp of basic statistics speaks volumns about the state of world today. By!
English

@janusforge @HazelAppleyard @marycatedelvey Read this part again but slowly. Or just stick to AI grifting. Obviously inferential statistics aren’t a census. That’s why they’re called inferential statistics.

English

mmm .... ok, Don. You misunderstand what that really means. The information gained with a small sample size can not be extended to beyond that original sample because of that CLT requirement. The larger population size with p < .05 means that the results can be extended to a much large population from which the sample was drawn. Small sample size taken from a large population can not be used to inform anyone about the larger population. A larger sample size of that population improves the confidence one has that that which is learned can be applied better to the larger population.
English

@janusforge @HazelAppleyard @marycatedelvey You don’t need an N of 1000 for a 95% CI and with a sample size that big, you can make anything significant at p < .05
English

@yrrownod @HazelAppleyard @marycatedelvey Statistical confident goes up to above 95% when the sample size is a little over 1000. Smaller sample sizes significantly reduce confidence. but seems you copy/pasted that piece whereas statistics is the basis of my degree work.
English

@HazelAppleyard @marycatedelvey How many did she listen to? 40 50 100..... out of how many estimated in the world 0.6% of any given population.... Besides, still not a valid sample.
