@ChrisPeikert Sure. But that doesn’t mean we should take it very seriously. There are excellent reasons to stick with the transition, and I understand what happens when people get lazy, but there’s a lot of silly panic going on right now.

The fact that major public companies are hyping quantum computer progress actually makes QC progress less scary for cryptography.

Thinking about it, I wonder why the Classic environment do not work well on UFS volumes.

My personal opinion on NSA and Heartbleed is that the Heartbeat extension was not secret.

@mkolsek What is funny BTW is that even "Upcycle Windows 7" don't mention it right now.

Thinking about it, while the AARD code in Windows 3.1 did require a 286, OS/2 2.0 of course would have required a 386.

"The 286 came out in 1982, just when it was starting to become apparent that the IBM PC and DOS were forces to be reckoned with." One thing nobody probably predicted is that even many Windows 3.0 machines for example were still using the 286.

I assume even 0patch is not willing to touch the Internet Explorer source code, right?

It is funny to compare Chromeguard and the RTB controls with WiSER.
