@ChrisPeikert Sure. But that doesn’t mean we should take it very seriously. There are excellent reasons to stick with the transition, and I understand what happens when people get lazy, but there’s a lot of silly panic going on right now.

The fact that major public companies are hyping quantum computer progress actually makes QC progress less scary for cryptography.

Thinking about it, while the AARD code in Windows 3.1 did require a 286, OS/2 2.0 of course would have required a 386.
