Reform are using asylum seekers as a battering ram when the main cause of the crisis is the Tories stopping processing claims, creating a huge backlog. Malcolm Offord was a member of the government that did that. He's the only candidate who bears responsibility for the situation.

In the near future, just a few decades from now, several Western European nations will find themselves at war with Islam inside their own borders. They will face the exact same reality that the State of Israel faces with Islam surrounding it. They will lack Israel’s capacity to defend themselves. Their fate will be grim and bitter.

Taxes OH …UNITED KINGDOM This is very interesting. If I give you £1 billion and you stand on a street corner handing out £1 per second, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, you would still not have handed out £1 billion after 31 years! Now read on. This is true and rather hard to really understand. The next time you hear a politician use the word 'billion' in a casual manner, think about whether you want the 'politicians' spending YOUR tax money. A billion is a difficult number to comprehend, but one advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of its releases. 1. A billion seconds ago, it was 1959. 2. A billion minutes ago, Jesus was alive. 3. A billion hours ago, our ancestors were living in the Stone Age. 4. A billion days ago, no-one walked on the earth on two feet. 5. A billion Pounds ago was only 13 hours and 12 minutes, at the rate our present government is spending it. We are charged: · Stamp Duty · Tobacco Tax · Corporate Income Tax · Income Tax · Council Tax · Unemployment Tax · Petrol/Diesel Tax · Inheritance Tax (tax on top of tax) · Alcohol Tax · G.S.T. · Property Tax · Purchase Property Tax · Tax on Title Searches · Tax on Building Inspections · Tax on supplements · Taxes on various food items · Taxes on Dining out · Tax on all utilities – Phone, hydro, water, waste disposal · Service charge taxes · Social Security Tax · Vehicle License / Registration Tax · Vehicle Sales Tax · Workers Compensation Tax · And now Carbon Tax AND I’m sure you can think of more... STILL THINK THIS IS FUNNY? Not one of these taxes existed 60 years ago, and our nation was one of the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt. We had the largest middle class in the world. A criminal’s life was uncomfortable. What on earth happened?

The @Conservatives need a better line on this. A Sikh woman was raped by a far-right Islamophobe who reportedly targeted her because he thought she was Muslim. There have also been recent arson attacks on mosques. So here is the uncomfortable question: if some argue that pro-Palestine marches create a climate for antisemitic attacks, why can’t others argue that Tommy Robinson-style marches create a climate for Islamophobic attacks? (FWIW I don’t think either should be banned) All I am asking for consistency. Yes, antisemitic attacks have rightly been treated by the media and political class as a national crisis. But where was the same urgency after the Peacehaven mosque arson attack? Where was it after John Ashby’s rape of a Sikh woman he believed to be Muslim? The perception that both left and right have “preferred” minority groups is poisonous. It corrodes trust, fuels resentment, and promotes the very sectarian politics everyone complains about. There would be far less whataboutery if politicians such as @KemiBadenoch, @Keir_Starmer, @Nigel_Farage and @ZackPolanski applied the same standard every time. They do not.

@Nigel_Farage You’re literally demonstrating that if you were ever to become Prime Minister, you wouldn’t be a Prime Minister for Britain, you’d be a Prime Minister for Reform voters. Spectacularly poorly thought through.

First Nigel Farage chickens out of a planned interview on the eve of the local elections after the revelation of a £5 million donation to him. Then he launches a policy that would punish those who don’t vote Reform. Not fit for government. Not fit to be Prime Minister.

I agree 100%. I am and have always been very proud to be Scottish. That will never change. But I am not proud of what the SNP has done to Scotland (or Labour for that matter), what it has become and I fear we are now in relentless decline, in stark contradistinction to our glorious past. But the Scots have nobody to blame but themselves. Nobody forced this dire mediocrity on them. They voted for it. Again and again and again. Devolution has only made it worse. The politics and ambition of the kailyard.

🎶 👇🏼sad that a much loved Scotland has been subjected over twenty years to severe neglect, from the state of our health providers, policing, education etc to the hellish condition of our roads because many of our countrymen put SNP activists into power. Your call Thursday 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

You may not agree with me, but you will always know where you stand with me. Today in Billericay, a heckler tried to shout me down as I spoke about the normalisation of hatred towards Jews. I did not back down, because it needs to be said. British Jews are being targeted and too many people are pretending this is the same experience of other minorities. This lady implied Muslims are being similarly targeted. This is simply not true. Let's be honest about what is happening. Certain groups (in particular but not solely Islamic Extremists) are creating a climate of fear and intimidation that is normalising Jew hatred. I will never stand for that. Governments have spent too long hand-wringing, making excuses and hoping it would go away. It is time to call this what it is: a national emergency in our attitude, our urgency and our response. I will always engage with people who disagree with me. That is politics. But there is a difference between argument and intimidation. Shouting does not make a bad case good. It's done to silence others. And it certainly does not change the truth. The truth is that British Jews have been made to feel less safe in their own country. Our country. They are being singled out, threatened and harassed in ways that should shame everyone in public life. If we do not stand up now and stop this rise in antisemitism, then why bother saying "Never Again" at Holocaust Memorial Day? Because this is how it starts. I am not prepared to play along with the pretence that this is normal, or manageable, or just another example of tension between groups. It really is not. It is targeted hatred and it is getting worse. So my message is simple. Not here. Not in Britain. And not on our watch. We need to stop the hand-wringing and start doing the right thing. That means standing with British Jews openly, unapologetically and without fear.
