🚨BREAKING: Bill Clinton was directly asked whether he received a massage from one of Jeffrey Epstein’s girls, visited Epstein’s island, or met Virginia Roberts Giuffre. LUNA: "Have you ever had contact with Chauntae Davies?" CLINTON: "I think that was the name of one of his flight attendents." LUNA: "She was on a 2002 Africa trip with you, was she or any other young female on that trip underage at that time?" CLINTON: "Not that I'm aware of." LUNA: "Did you ever receive a massage from her or anyone else on that trip?" CLINTON: "You've seen the pictures. I was sitting and I got a back rub by neck work. And I think Chauntee did it, but I'm not sure." LUNA: "Did you ever visit Epstein's island?" CLINTON: "No." LUNA: "We have Virginia Giuffre, who has testified seeing you on the island with two young girls, did this occur?" CLINTON: "No." LUNA: "Have you ever met Virginia?" CLINTON: "Not to my knowledge." Do you believe Bill Clinton is telling the truth?

It is time → effect.institute. 2026, the year of 𝚎𝚏𝚏𝚎𝚌𝚝. I'm extremely proud of how this turned out. There are many chapters to add, but I do hope you enjoy what's there so far. Let me know what you think. 🫡

@LeaVerou @Una yes, web needs to fix icons

Lea Verou, PhD@LeaVerou·
- Dependency management in the browser is broken beyond belief - Icons are fundamental to nearly every UI, yet all methods to include icons have severe downsides (e.g. markup only = no changing via CSS, no customizing colors, etc). - CSS poorly suited for context-aware components. ident(), multi-value *-mix()/*-interpolate(), @-function, mixins would help, but still early. - Lack of gamut mapping in CSS has crippled dynamic color palette generation

I built an iOS-style modal sheet with React Aria Components and Framer Motion! It uses gesture-driven animations to feel super smooth and natural on touch devices. It's a surprisingly small amount of code too. Check it out! 🤩 codesandbox.io/s/quirky-tharp…

- Function Scope: state - EventTarget: mutations - AbortSignal: cleanup - Components: encapsulation It's so easy and so fun. We gotta finish this thing

@rickyfm You think react’s magic strings better than other framework’s implementation? Both of them are are bad.

@roguesherlock React has “use client” and “use server”. The others are specific to one framework.

@rickyfm Maybe jsx (markup) is the only place where we need declarative code and logic should stay imperative. We went too far with declarative logic, remix fixes that

The key question for Remix 3 is: if ( times.you.forget.to.call.this.update() < times.you.screw.up.useEffect ) { // Yay, Remix 3 is good } I'm betting it's a yes
