Made with Vanilla CSS (live demo + code in comments) Similar to the scroll() function in CSS, we can use the view() function to drive the animation based on the child's visibility, as it enters and exits the viewport. (Explanation below)

@by__huy This is so sleek. I loved how the page loads and that hero section svgs and gradient added charm to it

We launched the V2 landing page for a production partner working with brands like A24, Paramount, and Netflix. Backhouse isn't a traditional production house and that was the whole challenge. They were transitioning from traditional media production to an embedded in-house partner model helping in-house teams scale their production work. The problem with that kind of shift is you can't just position the site as a portfolio. Show too much of it and you reposition them right back into the category they're trying to leave. So we had to build a lot of the work from scratch from the assets, the narrative, the flow. We spent a lot of time going back and forth with the founders on the messaging. Because the model is unusual enough that even a small amount of ambiguity tips it right back into sounding like every other production company they were trying to move past. After launch the team shared to us: "They’re saying the design is beautiful, that they love the website, and personally i am just happy people understand the business model from looking through it" That last part is the one that mattered most to us too. Getting someone to genuinely understand a completely new way of working, just from reading a page... that's the harder brief.

Okay I finally landed on the route tracing style I’m stoked about. Might add a chill spin to it. What do you think?

Very soon I'm launching Pano - the travel app of my dreams. In my 19 years as a designer it is the most satisfying & fun app I have ever produced. If you love travel and/or meticulously designed apps that are hard to put down - jump on the waitlist (or DM me). Adventure awaits. ☁︎

@UiSavior A works better for me, as I think design is not just visual but how it works as well, and A makes things more clear for a user to sign-in

Experimenting with @threejs. Built an interactive card where both the card and the 3D model react to cursor movement. Really liking how much depth this adds.

Trying something new with @threejs, let's see how it turns out. The plan is to make this model and rotate separately, each with respect to cursor movement.
