You can now upload AWS Terraform projects to TopoReady, get security and other recommendations, and use the visual editor. Oh, and the app has a new look.

I think most people spend way too much time planning and writing the CRD. Just give it a go and see how it all fits together. In most cases, you will learn that you had no clue, and it ended up very differently from how you initially planned. The best thing about coding agents is being able to iterate fast and see your app evolving. Use it, you are no longer spending full sprints on tiny pieces of software.

I hate it when they nerf models. Opus 4.6 is worse than sonnet 3.5 today.

Finally got some decent sleep and ready to work.

Claude Code wiped our production database with a Terraform command. It took down the DataTalksClub course platform and 2.5 years of submissions: homework, projects, and leaderboards. Automated snapshots were gone too. In the newsletter, I wrote the full timeline + what I changed so this doesn't happen again. Maybe a little more structure and aws specific context that should be more up to date. They recently added SOPs for some functionality like deployments, but I don't think they're relevant to cost yet. Well, that's the promise anyway
