@coneticc You are literally copying the exact reports I made and tweeting about them. At least give credit where it's due. Plus, this vulnerability only works on new accounts, not all of them.

Meta lets hackers take over accounts & leaves fake profiles running, decided that my 10 year+ old account ,travel content, artwork & charity work was the problem. Real users lose years of their lives in seconds while actual bad actors continue operating freely Make it make sense

My Instagram (@jakeknowsfr) was hacked and disabled overnight. It had 0 TOS violations and is my main income source. I’ve spent hours with Meta support and only received broken links. Anyone know how to contact a real person at Meta about a hacked and disabled account? @Meta

Absolutely ridiculous that @Meta as a trillion dollar+ company, is allowing tens of 1000’s of accounts to be disabled with zero human support or accountability. Last week Meta said the problem has been “patched” regarding the Meta AI exploit which allows people to target & change the email address of nearly any Instagram account without any verification whatsoever by manipulating it’s AI. Guess what? They haven’t fixed anything or even made a public statement about it. No appeal, no review, just permanently disabled accounts. My business runs through Meta platforms & instantly overnight I’ve lost 1000’s of hours of work, all of my data & a significant income source, all without any explanation or even a chance to appeal or review it’s obvious AI exploit. I’ve never once violated a single community guideline in the last decade+ and am an active Meta Verified subscriber. And the saddest part of all of this, is that it opens the door for endless grifters & scammers charging $1000’s in attempt to help recover your account. 90% of which don’t work and the 10% that do are employees at Meta profiting of this massive exploit. I’ve already paid & been scammed by multiple guys claiming they can get it recovered. What an absolute clown world meta has become. @metaai @andymstone @instagram

my instagram (@More) was stolen and disabled overnight about 2-3weeks ago via the Meta AI support - it took me awhile to make this tweet just because I thought instagram would randomly restore my account randomly, I have seen people getting their accounts restored but mine is still disabled at the moment. The perpetrator had asked The Meta AI to reset my password and add their phone number to my account. My email is still attached to the account. I had never put my # on my Instagram account. Just because I never thought this would happen. I have never violated tos or community standards. If anyone at meta is reading this and can help me out by reinstating my account it would be very much appreciated @AIatMeta @instagram @andymstone

To those claiming I’m posting for 'X payouts': Monetization isn't supported in Syria. I have my own business and a solid income. ​Technically: The exploit shown is a basic one for newer accounts (2025/2026). Medium/high-tier exploits exist. Stay tuned.
