@main_sails @ThePRu3 @PolishTamales There's no multiple definitions lmao, it's literally the same. You don't see idle bots ever, they aren't cheaters, they're not looking to get found. They still count towards the steam charts API and it's why the game does not actually have as many players as it says it does.

@Goosewasinuse Also, it was kind of a given from the jump Marathon wasn't going to exclusively be a extraction shooter for it's entire lifespan. That's never how Bungie has operated. Almost every IP has had multiple ways to play them. Destiny, Halo, even the original Marathons.

I honestly feel like if they make a PvE different enough from the core experience like how they’re saying it will be I don’t see much of an issue with that. It has to offer a different type of challenge that doesn’t feel like undercutting the PVPVE, and I think Bungie can do it

Not even as far back as the original Marathon titles. It was kind of obvious from the jump they'd make Marathon more than just an EXS.

This part is interesting to me. It could be the long term goal is to the get real PvE and PvP modes working and combine them all into an entirely new Marathon package. Not quite a mini Destiny, but at least somewhat moving toward that kind of broader base

@hertaxclaire If sales were the only metric worth looking at, McDonald's is better than any 5 star restaurant. Re5 is a great co-op game, but went into the hole Dead Space 3 went in. And then 6 decided that hole wasn't deep enough and got power tools to go to the Earth's core.

The Boys is a bad show. One good season. One alright one. Then it collapses. Butcher being the final villain should’ve been a season long arc. Hughie putting all he learned to heartbreakingly bring his friend/mentor down. Its problems are seasons old. Fatal problems. Oh well.
