I was planning to use UUIDs to represent the databases we have on the @tursodatabase Cloud. I got a bit worried that we would perhaps run out of UUIDs. I just double-checked and I think we'll be fine for the next year or so. Will use UUIDs for now, and if needed, rearchitect later.

Watched founders and senior engineers on twitter talk about spinning up armies of AI agents like it's effortless. That naturally led to a bigger question: how do companies like @cursor_ai , @cognition , and @AnthropicAI @OpenAI actually make this work in production? Not the polished demo. The real infrastructure underneath, the sandboxing, real-time sync, isolation, checkpointing, recovery, semantic indexing, and all the distributed systems chaos hiding behind a simple "AI, fix this bug." So I went deep and designed the entire architecture from scratch. If you've ever wondered what it takes to safely run thousands of autonomous coding agents at scale, this one's for you. @devanshusharma658/agent-sandboxes-at-scale-a-distributed-systems-design-for-ai-driven-development-3765f4a9460c" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">medium.com/@devanshusharm

what are you using to spin up 10+ k8 clusters locally?

spinning up 1000 k8s clusters in parallel locally while using less than 4gb ram feels so nice

@johncodes exactly. pretty sure it was billions of requests per day pre-AI. wonder what it is today 🤯

love that people are trying to disrupt github. please be sure to include performance testing across billions of requests so we trust it won’t happen to you as well 🙏

kubernetes gets a lot of hate but it orchestrates the infrastructure for most of the worlds cloud. thanks to github for training most LLMs, AI naturally understands the declarative/eventually consistent nature of k8s and api discovery is built-in. agentic k8s is coming

the unlock for agent infra is declarative intent. tell the system what you want true about the world and agents reconcile towards it continuously. imperative agents: “do this task” declarative agents: “keep this true” this requires a different foundation layer
