@MarcMethot3 I mean, given the media attention and stigma, and the nature of mental health, I'm pretty sure the coach isn't going to come out and say that mental health is the issue. But point taken, if it isn't mental health related, I 100% agree that a last minute self-benching isn't cool.

Some things are bigger than the game Marc. O'Neill's comments are contributing to the stigma around men's mental health. I don't disagree with your take on how people view it, but that's exactly the problem.

Watching the John Schneider post game really emphasizes how little personality we get out of the NHL. You can barely hear the questions and coaches are alway annoyed to have to answer them. Schneider was dynamite.
