@STaranto92 Gotta give it to Connor for how he handled this, stayed calm, asked good questions in a genuine attempt to improve his craft.

Let's see if we can get to the bottom of the Connor Zilisch/Ricky Stenhouse incident and if Zilisch had ample warning Stenhouse was coming to pit road. You can see clearly from Carson Hocevar's onboard that Stenhouse waved to signal to traffic behind him that he was coming to pit road after being told to try and bring it down as early as Turn 1. You can hear on Hocevar, Todd Gilliland and Cody Ware's onboards that each of their spotters told them the pit cycle was beginning, and both Gilliland and Ware were told to watch for hands. Each of these drivers also could've plausibly seen Stenhouse's hand out the window (Remember, the onboard cameras are on the passenger's side and aren't a perfect reflection of what the driver is seeing). But I didn't hear Zilisch get told anything about green flag stops or to watch for hands in about 10 laps I listened to prior to the incident. Stenhouse's spotter also mentioned as he was bearing left that he wasn't around the spotters of the other drivers Ricky was running with, so he was waving to try and get their attention from the spotter's stand. Zilisch's spotter apparently never saw this and claimed he just got an apology when he went over to ask Stenhouse's spotter what that was about. Keep in mind that I believe Zilisch's spotter (Stefan Parsons if I'm right) is in his first season as a full-time Cup spotter.
