Meanwhile, Palestinian children, whether bleeding, burned, or broken - remain stuck behind bureaucratic walls. Apparently, the vetting process for toddlers is far more complex than for livestock. Hanover and Düsseldorf offered to host young patients from the Palestinian enclave, but the federal government blocked them. After all, children come with families, and families come with politics.
