This is such a bummer. A legitimate artist was bullied out of a project he was excited about because people on social media are assholes. It won’t stop AI from being used - it’s just going to keep him personally from doing a passion project that would otherwise not get greenlit. So dumb. In the meantime other directors are excited by the tech and investing their time in it.

This is disappointing.
The mob keeps asserting you can't make great art with AI, and then they bully any actual artist who tries.
If the results are going to be so obviously terrible, what's to be afraid of? Why not get proven right?

A lot of performers are cancelling their appearance at the Freedom 250 concert over death threats. I've received countless death threats over the last 25 years, including from a guy who actually went out and killed somebody. Man up you pussies.
