@2024dion Except cattle provides raw materials, not just food. Fertilizer, raw materials for pharmaceuticals, leather and wool – which are biodegradable unlike “ethical” artificial materials made from fucking plastic. Killing animals is violent, and that’s a strong argument, but that’s it.

@2024dion @cwjones89 Bruh, you can’t eat grass, you need protein. And if you gonna replace all meat with soy, you gotta terraform huge amounts of land to be able to grow it and completely destroy the environment the cattle otherwise damages less so.

I really like the audio to this. silent films were almost always accompanied by a music track, but very often would not have sheet music sent with the reel. so theaters would each have music but it would change. this is part of that long tradition, isn't that beautiful?

Это видео заставило меня задуматься. «Серьезный и важный человек специально дурачится и ведёт себя глупо и смешно» — это то, что должно меня к нему расположить. Я в теории всегда, абсолютно всегда за такое. Даже если он делает это кринжово, даже если я ужасно отношусь к этому человеку. Когда Трамп начинает по-дурацки дрыгаться на сцене, когда Медведев нелепо танцует с Мартиросяном, когда чиновник отвратительно читает рэп на дне города, а Оксимирон наряжается в домохозяйку с бигуди — это всегда очеловечивает их в моих глазах, всегда подсознательно заставляет меня относиться к ним хотя бы ЧУТЬ лучше, чем до этого. И только это видео удивительным образом не вызывает у меня ничего, кроме всепоглощающей неловкости и неприязни. По аналогии с абсолютным нулём температуры по Кельвину, возможно мы наблюдаем абсолютный ноль харизмы.
