@Patrick_ORourke the only reason i want a touchscreen on the MacBook is so they can actually add a proper oleophobic coating on these screens.
if you don’t regularly maintain the nanotexture screen looks horrible.

I’ve been very against a touchscreen coming to the MacBook, but at this point I sort of don’t care. As long as the standard MacBook Pro without a touchscreen is still around, this makes sense. xda-developers.com/macbook-ultra-…

@zarifali Over and above the MacBook Pro M5 yes, versus the new M5 Pro and Max absolutely not.

@Hak_Tsu not at all; unless you’re gaming or actively looking for it, 120Hz on the mac is more of a nice to have. i don’t really notice when my MacBook Pro reverts to 60Hz on power-saving mode.
i think you will notice the Air might be worse screen compared to your other devices though.

@zarifali My only concern is the 60hz. All of my other devices have 120 (both phones and tablets). Wouldn't it drive me crazy/feel like a downgrade? Cause otherwise the Air sounds more or less perfect
