Duke students have started camping out to secure a ticket for the basketball team's game against UNC. Since that game isn't until March 7th, at least one member of their 12-person tent needs to be in the tent...24/7...for nearly two months. That's wild.

This is the obvious backlash to the past ten years where black people have been treated like they are incapable of doing wrong, or at a minimum that any wrong they do is the result of systemic mistreatment on a society level that determines their behavior, rather than a consequence of their own choices. It’s the soft bigotry of low expectations, and this sort of murder by repeat offenders is seen my many as the inevitable result.

And of course black and brown people are in worse socioeconomic situations as a whole. Current CEOs remember segregation lol

Sharing this photo is not honoring her life, it’s weaponizing her death. Not illegal or anything, but slightly immoral.
