@zbramsls@AnthropoceneMe1 If you’re constantly pulling them up while trying to keep your sidewalk neat and tidy, you’re going to find them quite annoying
I know more “lawn history” than the average person but I’m still putting the pieces together on the Dandelion Psyop.
Did anyone *actually* dislike them, or is it just preference falsification? A marketing push?
@aussiejbuzz@liftblog Imagine a family without 40K to spend on 2 weeks of gallivanting at a mega resort. Seems like they might warrant more pity than the 1%.
@zbramsls@liftblog I certainly give more of a shit about them than I do about an obnoxious troll like you. Also - I have known many families who have taken a once in a lifetime vacation skiing (including several who have done so when someone is terminally ill).
@liftblog Imagine being a family who took 2 weeks off, spent $40,000 for a memorable Christmas and New Year ski vacation of a lifetime, and ended up skiing 4 crowded blue runs a day, 4hrs of lift queues a day, and 6 miles of cat tracks to get there!
🚨1/ This New York Times piece is wild. Let's go through it.
Firstly, the lede is an emphasis that attacks in Amsterdam were based on antisemitism, yet it cites no evidence of this, but DOES cite evidence of anti-Arab chants.
@qbas81@MaxWilbert@remblance_erin Don’t disagree. However “green” tech is making promises about saving the planet when in reality they are doing the opposite.
@MaxWilbert@remblance_erin Perhaps you should focus on non "green" tech and excessive production of stuff like tanks in Russia or warships in China?
Or luxury tall apartment blocks in NYC.
"Green" tech is a myth, but we have other, big problems too.
