@WilliamC1252 Let’s try and learn the rules first. The puck can be directed in with the skate and it’s been that way for a long time. There was also nothing in that goal that said distinct kicking motion. Danault didnt even realize he had scored until he saw his teammates celebrating!

Yeah that’s just a really hard call to make too because you never really know if the puck is covered or not on purpose. Just because a guy is laying on the ice doesn’t mean he is trying to freeze the puck. One of those plays where the refs saw Dobes with it at the end and decided to move on

Sabres outplayed them and lost which sadly happens with bad luck luck or refs making the game about themselves like they did here

@IAmTheNizz The NHL reviews every goal. Lindy and the video team for the Sabres also had every opportunity to challenge that goal which they did not. I’m not sure what the big fuss is about it when the Sabres had their chance to challenge it

All you have to do is direct the puck forward and it is a kick.
You have to keep your foot perfectly still for it to be a goal.
