AEC disclosure update: At the 2022 election 78% of the Teal reported campaign cash for Goldstein came from Sydney-based entities. In 2025 it lifted to 83%. We’ve had it confirmed by @VictorianLabor sources Issacs Labor volunteers campaigned in Teal tees in Goldstein.

It’s some years since I reported in Venezuela. I have thought of the country and its people so much since. This, tears. “I hope you understand this is a movement…” A huge moment for women’s leadership. 🩵

Today, Tim Wilson has been officially declared as the Member for Goldstein. I wish him the best, trusting that he serves our community with integrity and effectiveness. The Australian Electoral Commission has agreed to conduct a partial recount in Goldstein. I will be making no further comment until the process is complete.

The result in Goldstein is obviously close and it will be some days before the result is confirmed. I again thank the voters of Goldstein for their support as well as the many volunteers who worked tirelessly on my campaign. Zoe Daniel MP
