If only @JEChalmers had taken inflation seriously, stopped his active inflation agenda and stopped pouring debt petrol on the inflation fire, Australia wouldn’t have the highest inflation of major advanced economies. Once Iran subsides, Australia’s inflation problem will persist.

The Iran conflict is relevant, but a simple test is to ask: if we remove the Iran spike, would Australia have an inflation problem? Answer: Yes, because @JEChalmers hasn’t taken inflation seriously, & keeps pouring debt petrol on the inflation fire.

Sadly, @AustralianLabor will never fix the fraud and corruption in the NDIS, because it is their supporters profiting from NDIS fraud and corruption. This is the economy Labor built, and it is for them, not you. Always remember: Labor governs for Labor, not Australians.

Persistent inflation is not a bug, it is a design feature of the economy built for Labor, paid for by Australians. And the only answer @JEChalmers now has is double-down on his active inflation agenda which will increase interest rates and punish small business and families.

Off the back of inflation data last year, interest rates rose. @JEChalmers said we’d turned the inflation corner, so he kept pouring debt petrol on the inflation fire. Now to avoid a recession @JEChalmers is going to persist with his active inflation agenda.

When Labor flags new housing, rental and family savings taxes in the Budget, it’s now clear that’s step 1, and retrospective measures can’t be ruled out to follow. And all to fund their cash flow to fraud, corruption and organised crime, and fuel inflation.

Once you go retrospective tax, you never go back. @JEChalmers is tax assaulting any Australian that wants to invest in a better the future. These aren’t the taxes Australians voted for.

Good to see Labor Senators now telling @AlboMP & @JEChalmers that they shouldn’t raise taxes on Aussies just to fund corruption by the CFMEU, and corruption and fraud in NDIS, child care, aged care and reportedly now renewables rollout.
