Many present #Iran as a monolith. It isn't. Many oppose war, some welcome it, and some oppose it now after 4 weeks of relentless bombing even though they initially welcomed it. A country of 90 million people will have diverse views. Stop seeing it as one or the other.

🔴 Depuis des semaines, j’essaie de relayer le sentiment que les Iraniens de la diaspora et même en Iran ne veulent pas de cette guerre, malgré les images fabriquées et manipulées par les médias qui montrent des iraniens remercier Trump et Bibi. Toute voix iranienne qui s’opposait à cette guerre était qualifiée de pro-Ayatollah et de trahison au “peuple” iranien. Le sondage sorti aujourd’hui auprès des Iraniens aux US montre que 66% s’opposent à cette guerre. Seuls 18% la soutiennent fortement. Il est temps que les grandes gueules comme @femmeazadi ou @erazavi3 qui sont les agents de Netanyahu en France la ferment et cessent de parler au nom des iraniens.

@asc0lib C’était systématique, on n’invitait que des gens qui poussaient à la guerre et évidemment ça donnait le sentiment que c’était la majorité du « peuple » iranien.

@zebigoudee Clairement mais comme sur un peu tous les sujets non ? Évidemment ça mérite d’être dénoncé mais si tu filmes une manifestation avec 100 000 clampins qui ne représentent qu’eux mêmes ça fait des images impressionnantes d’unité etc.

@asc0lib Fabriqués car ils donnent une fausse impression d’unité derrière la guerre. Je ne connais quasiment personne pro guerre, sauf une ou deux, que ce soit en Iran ou en dehors.

@zebigoudee « Images fabriquées et manipulées par les médias » hum hum. Si t’as ~32% des gens qui sont pour les images ont pas besoin d’être fabriqués tu peux très bien avoir des gens très vocaux dans la rue (cf une majorité de sujets). Manipulées/présentées frauduleusement bien sûr.

@zebigoudee Après est-ce que la diaspora Iranienne aux US est représentative de la diaspora Iranienne dans le monde ? Généralement est-ce qu’ils ont des spécificités claires et positionnement particuliers par rapport au reste du monde ou pas connus ? À quel point ils sont gros/representatifs
