@JacobSnowden22 @khelvery @TimBrown_CA Thanks to gas station THCA, a lot of people see high THCA numbers on dispo weed COAs now and assume that means it's the same as gas station hemp. The weed didn't change, the testing method did. Modern HPLC can differentiate between THCA and THC, while GCMS converted both to THC.

@JacobSnowden22 @khelvery @TimBrown_CA Haven't smoked it but I'm sure that's true, most of the smoke shop "thca hemp" I see looks like it was harvested 20-30 days early & dunked in a fungicide. Definitely some headache-fuel boof. Some vendors ship legit weed and put a fake "hemp COA" in the box though.

@JacobSnowden22 @khelvery @TimBrown_CA Lemme get a link to a COA for "real weed" testing 13% THC but under 1% THCA? Doesn't exist. Fresh herb will never have more THC than THCA, as all THC is THCA first before degrading to THC. THCA is 100% the same plant, just grown and processed very poorly vs what you're used to.

@Ben_grows Apparently I use a lot more H2O2 than others suggest but it works great. Food grade 3/6/12% (whichever is closest) undiluted for 15-30min, then dilute to ~0.5% H2O2 and leave them submerged for another 12-24hrs. Have also had success with a quick swirl in concentrated H2S04.

Breaking out some older seeds to see what’s still in there. Curious if anyone has experience popping old seeds…any tricks or lessons learned?

Ripped Bubba from TGA Subcool Seeds was a favorite of mine around 10 years ago. I found the most epic Bubba leaning pheno with an even louder coffee type terp profile and crazy frost and funk with the perfect mellow creative effects i like for when im making music. Ended up losing that pheno during a move sadly. When I met Sub back in the day and showed him the flower he told me that pheno comes up in less than 10 percent of females. Luckily i have a few more packs to look through and i was smart enough to make seeds with the pheno i kept. Pictured is one of the ladies from when i grew out another pack of ripped bubba maybe 2 years ago. She was nice but not the one!
