Last year I wrote a thread on why stablecoins are crypto's trillion dollar opportunity. I believed it so hard I went and built one. We loved working with Paxos and Steakhouse Financial on csUSDL. It was a rollercoaster - $135M TVL in four months. $30M+ in csUSDC The thesis was right. We were about to launch more yield products and interesting usecases with csUSDL and grow it to billions. Then Paxos decided to shut down USDL. Our architecture was too coupled to it. There was no option other than unwinding the entire TVL. That hit me hard. But it gave me the most important clarity of my career. We need to own the full stack. So we went heads down and built it ourselves. From scratch. Every piece assembled by us - from compliance to regulated counterparties to the note structure itself. As a founder, it was unglamorous but taught me more about how TradFi actually works than anything else could have. Today Coinshift is fully capable of tokenizing any yield source on the planet and bringing it onchain - and vice versa, making any onchain yield accessible through traditional banking infrastructure without ever touching crypto directly. This entire platform is owned by the Coinshift Foundation. Every piece of value it generates accrues to the future token holders - whether a TradFi LP subscribes through a Swiss AMC or a DeFi institution deposits from their wallet. All platform fees flow back to the Coinshift Foundation. We are coming out of stealth stronger than ever. Our thesis is simple. There is a real and persistent spread between how TradFi, CeFi, and DeFi price credit risk. We built the infrastructure to capture it - low-correlated assets combined in a tiered liquidity structure from daily to quarterly, with a real-time liquidity coverage ratio anyone can verify onchain.
